Chris Hall, Chair
Chris Hall is a rising Senior in the
Electrical Engineering program. He is a Micron Scholar, a member of Tau
Beta Pi, and he has participated in Undergraduate Research since he was
a Freshman. His interests include robotics, image processing, computer
vision, research, and business.
John Sallay, Vice Chair
John Sallay is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering. He is currently researching pattern recognition. During his
senior year he designed an automatic people counter for UTA and is optimizing it for a graduate thesis. John enjoys books,
the outdoors, and mathematical rigor.

May Bo Hsu, WIE Chair
May Bo Hsu is a Sophomore working on a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Math. She can't imagine studying anything else! Besides being a nerd and playing with her circuit board, May Bo enjoys art, photography, music, multimedia, sewing, rollerblading, and working with little kids.
Caleb Crookston, CS Chair
Doran Baker, Advisor
Dr. Doran Baker has a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Physics and enjoys innovation in teaching courses for the ECE Dept. in the USU College of Engineering. He is also the Executive Administrator of the Rocky Mountain NASA Space Grant Consortium. Dr. Baker encourages students to further their education and to take advantage of opportunities such as competitions, internships, and fellowships. He is a senior member of IEEE and helps to mentor the IEEE Student Branch here at USU. Some of Dr. Baker?s outside interests are historic and rural preservation and basketball (and yes, he still plays full-court).
